Terms of Service
Effective 6 November 2026
These terms apply when you use our website at ewastecollectionkerala.com, our app at app.ewastecollectionkerala.com, or our Android app Eco Friendly: E-waste Pickup, and when you book a pickup or sell e-waste to us. We have written them in plain language. If anything is unclear, phone us on 9447778525.
Who we are
Eco Friendly Solutions, 8/57C 57E, Vettath Business Zone, Melampara P.O, Thalappalam, Kottayam 686578, Kerala. GSTIN 32CJAPM8823N2ZW. We collect e-waste under Kerala State Pollution Control Board consent KSPCB/KT/ICO/10023324/2023 and hand it to authorised recyclers under the E-Waste (Management) Rules.
Where we collect
We currently collect only within Kerala. Bookings with a PIN code outside Kerala cannot be accepted. Businesses outside Kerala can contact us on WhatsApp 9447778525.
Booking a pickup
- You do not need an account to book. You must give a correct name, phone number and pickup address.
- You must own the items you sell, or be authorised to sell them. We do not accept stolen goods and may report suspected cases to the police.
- We will contact you to confirm the pickup. A preferred day and time is a request, not a guarantee.
- You can cancel or change a booking free of charge before the pickup is made.
How collection works
- Large loads (more than about 1 tonne): our team collects, weighs at your premises and pays before leaving.
- Medium loads: collected by our vehicle or a freight partner.
- A few items: collected by a courier partner, weighed and checked at our facility, and paid online.
- Large, light items such as single refrigerators, washing machines or dishwashers may be placed on a district waiting list and collected on a group run. We will tell you if this applies. You can also bring such items to our office.
Prices and quotes
- Prices follow the daily scrap market and depend on the type, weight and condition of the items.
- Any price range or quote given before pickup, including one based on your photos, is an estimate. The final amount is based on the actual weight and condition we find.
- Business, bulk and tender loads are priced by written quotation.
Payment
- Payment is made by cash, UPI or bank transfer to the person who sold the items.
- For courier pickups, we normally pay within 3 hours to 3 days of the items reaching us.
- Ownership of the items passes to us when payment is made.
Data on your devices
Please back up and delete your personal data before handing over phones, computers, drives or other devices. Devices are destroyed or recycled at an authorised recycling facility, not at your premises. A Certificate of Data Destruction is available on request, and can be checked against our register in the app.
Accounts and referral rewards
- Customer accounts are optional. Keep your sign-in details private. You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your account.
- Referral rewards are paid as described in the app at the time of the referral. We may change or end the referral programme for future referrals, and we may withhold rewards obtained by fraud, fake bookings or self-referral.
Fair use
Do not make fake bookings, give false information, misuse the support chat, or try to interfere with the app or website. We may refuse service or close accounts that do.
Our responsibility
We take reasonable care in collecting, transporting and paying for your items. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, courier partners or events outside our control, or for data left on devices you hand over. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
Your personal information
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Complaints
Contact us at grievance@ewastecollectionkerala.com, on WhatsApp 9447778525, or through "Something went wrong?" in the app. Every complaint gets a reference. We will acknowledge you within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kottayam, Kerala have jurisdiction.
